Used to like eating here but our last 2 visits have been less than satisfactory. It wasn't busy either time ( last time was a Sat at 6pm) yet our food was hastily prepared & rushed to the tables. Chimichangas & other fried items were undercooked & greasy, not crispy as expected. The service was adequate although I requested a Tecate & was given a Dos Equis Amber. I like both so didnt say anything.

I love this place! Felix is the best and the food is fonmanal! I always get the chicken mole enchiladas and everytime they're so delicious. And the margaritas are like none other! This is my go to place, a must try!

There are three Toro Viejo restaurants in this area. This one has great food and is the cleanest location out of the three. The food is good at the one in CDA, but the Hayden location has the best combining of great food with a breast atmosphere.

My family and friends have been going here for years! They are amazing! Great prices, excellent food! Fun family friendly atmosphere! The bar is good too!! Easy location, easy parking! I love sitting outside in the evening there! I definitely recommend that you give it a shot if you haven't already!!!

Service was ok. Took awhile to get service when we arrived. Hardly busy at all, so not sure why it took so long. Once we got our food, our server or anyone for that matter never came by to see how our food was. Food was good, but not great.

We love Mexican food. This was just ordinary, under-spiced. The Atmosphere was pleasant and the food was served very quickly.

My waiter was great. The food was ok. It's just not the Mexican food I love. Plus, it's kinda pricey. I feel like a dish should be cheaper if you don't get any meat on it.

I'm not really a fan of Mexican food dishes, but I would say that what I have tried there is quite good. The drinks are very generous & well put together. Staff is outstanding, very friendly & courteous. During football season a blast & you can hear yourself talk to company & they can hear you. Again my thanks for their hospitality & great service. Try them, they are very good.

Always hot always consistent great family owned business

We usually like this place for Mexican food. But the last time we were there we had to wait a good half hour to get service. Although that was bad, our waitress said she was out of mild sauce. When I looked over I saw her making the sauce with powder!! We eat elsewhere now!

We were told they close at 7:30, despite everything saying otherwise. No explanation offered. Not sure what's going on over there

The Best Authentic Mexican Restaurant in town. Delicious food great prices and amazing staff. My family and I have been enjoying the food for 15 years. Try it once and you will see why! They also have another location downtown CDA.

Love this place family run...great people great food for a great price and very clean, one of the few places deserving of the 5 stars status...if your close enough to stop in and try this place then do because it's deffeinitly worth it...

We had a large group of 10 and even though they were very busy they cheerfully accommodated us in only 5 minutes. Every order was correct and the waitress was patient as there were a dozen extra requests e.t.c. The other people serving our table were great as well. Even the restroom was in great order and super clean.

Best Mexican in town

Great service, Felix is always on top of things when we go in for lunch. Pretty handsome to boot. Get the extra spicy salsa and the cabo enchiladas.

Great service but they don't even know how to wrap a burrito and the meat is 100% unseasoned dog food. This food is actually worse than tex mex. Clearly none of the Mexicans working there have never had real Mexican food. But the service was exceptional.

One of our top favs in the area for traditional down home style Mexican food. Good variety to choose from. Nice comfy and authentic environment brought to you by very friendly and efficient Mexican family owners.
